The South Dakota State equestrian program returns to its home barn for meets against Delaware State and Minnesota-Crookston Friday and Saturday.Â

here. Friday's meet against the Hornets of DSU will include senior recognition and a sending off for team veterans

The Jackrabbits look to improve on their 1-2 record over the weekend. Last time out, the Jacks took on No. 8 TCU (loss, 1-18), No. 5 SMU (loss, 4-15 ) and Tennessee-Martin (tiebreaker win, 8-8) over a three-day road trip to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Delaware State comes to Brookings having yet competed this season. DSU holds the all-time record against State at 7-6, while the Jacks look to remian undefeated all-time against the Golden Eagles of Minnesota-Crookston
The weekend's meets come as the first home competition for SDSU in over a year, with the last being Feb. 22, 2019 against UC-Davis.
