South Dakota State volleyball fell in three sets to Denver Saturday afternoon in the team's final contest at Frost Arena this season (22-25, 22-25, 21-25). The Jackrabbits honored
Sydney Andrews,
Hailee Blau,

The seniors led the way for the Jacks in the match. Stitt paced all players with 15 kills, 12 of which came through the first two sets. Pickar tallied a team-high 12 digs to go with two service aces. Andrews and Blau recorded .364 and .333 hitting percentages, the highest of the Jacks' starting attackers. The duo had six kills apiece.
Crystal Burk notched her 1,000th career kill in the match. She needed just one heading into Saturday and surpassed the milestone on one of the first plays of set one. Burk ended the match with 12 kills.
Despite the sweep, the Jackrabbits maintained a tight score through all three sets with one of the Summit's top teams.
Denver got out to a 9-4 lead in the opening set before three straight Jackrabbit points put the home team within two.
Tatum Pickar tied the set at 12 with an ace. The sides went back-and-forth before Denver used a 7-2 stretch to lead 24-19. Two SDSU kills and a block brought State back within two before Denver finished off the set.
Set two saw 14 ties and six lead changes. The Jackrabbits scored three consecutive points twice, the largest run for either team in the set. SDSU held its final lead at 13-12 before Denver went back on top.
The final set was another closely contested game. Denver used a pair of 4-0 stretches to lead 21-16 late. Stitt and
