GULF SHORES, Ala. – The South Dakota State women's golf team is in seventh place at the Bama Beach Bash after the initial 18 holes on Friday.

The Jackrabbits posted a team score of 311 (+23) in the first round. Central Arkansas leads the 15-team field at 10-over 298, while ULM is in second with 300 (+12).

Teresa Toscano nears the top of the leaderboard yet again as she finished the first round tied for second with one-over 73. She posted four birdies in the round.

st with a first-round score of 78 (+6).
