GULF SHORES, Ala. – The South Dakota State women's golf team is in seventh place at the Bama Beach Bash after the initial 18 holes on Friday.

RESULTS

The Jackrabbits posted a team score of 311 (+23) in the first round. Central Arkansas leads the 15-team field at 10-over 298, while ULM is in second with 300 (+12).

Teresa Toscano nears the top of the leaderboard yet again as she finished the first round tied for second with one-over 73. She posted four birdies in the round.

Hester Sicking is tied for 31^st with a first-round score of 78 (+6). Cassidy Laidlaw and Mia Seeman are tied for 50^th with 80 (+8). Tied for 57^th is Lani Potter with 81 (+9).

Competing as an individual, Alex Kandolin fired a first round score of 77 (+5) and is tied for 24^th.

Up Next
South Dakota State will compete in the second round of the Bama Beach Bach on Saturday. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. off of the first hole.
