SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State's Teresa Toscano has been named Summit League Female Golfer of the Week for the third straight week, the league office announced Wednesday.

The senior won her third collegiate event in a row and seventh in her career.

The senior, who hasn't finished lower than second in a tournament all season, captured the Bama Beach Bash by four strokes, recording a 213 (-3) in the 54-hole event. The Huelva, Spain native carded 69 (-3) in the second round to climb to the top of the leaderboard and tallied 13 birdies throughout the event.

Toscano ranks second in the Summit League with 13 combined career weekly and monthly honors.

The Jackrabbits and Toscano will return to play April 5-6 at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic.
