SIOUX FALLS --- South Dakota State University Men Cross Country had an impressive team performance at the Augustana Twilight taking three of the top five spots to win the team title.

SDSU tallied 29 total points that propelled them to a first place team finsh over the 39 other teams competing Friday night, including Summit League Conference rival University of South Dakota.

Top Five Jacks:
Thomas Breuckman was the first representing the Jackrabbits to cross the line in an honest 19:42.80 for the four-mile race. Breuckman was clipping off 4:56 per mile to earn third overall as his teammate
Daniel Burkhalter came in right behind him in fourth with a time of 19:43.80.

Joseph Minor rounded out the top five overall for the meet with his own 19:47.20 effort. Teammate
Ben Olson was next in line clocking in at 19:51.50 keeping the score still relatively low with a seventh place finish. Â

Gabe Peters closed the book on the scoring for the Jackrabbits with a 10th overall finish, crossing the line in 20:03.11.
