The South Dakota State women's golf team signed one new member Wednesday on National Signing Day. Molly O'Hara is set to join the Jackrabbits next fall.
O'Hara, a native of Northern Ireland, has played with the Ulster Interpros since 2017. She set a career-best 7-under this season and set the Belvior course record at 5-under par. O'Hara also helped her high school squad win the Ulster senior school championship.
O'Hara was a member of the Ireland High Performance Panel in 2021 and was the Ulster girls champion. In 2019, O'Hara made an appearance with the Irish Junior Team against Wales. She was also a member of Ulster's senior cup championship squad in 2019.
O'Hara helped her high school team win the Ulster and Irish school championships in 2017. Individually, O'Hara was the Connacht girls plate champion, Ulster girls trophy champion and Wee Wonder British champion.
O'Hara is the daughter of Ray O'Hara. She plans to major in business.
