COLUMBIA, Mo. - The South Dakota State men's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of the MU Tiger Intercollegiate in seventh place Monday at the Club at Old Hawthone.
The Jackrabbits started the day with a blistering 279 (-9) opening round to sit in second after 18 holes.
Jonah Dohrer led the Jackrabbits in the first trip around the course with a 67 (-5).
SDSU had a tough second round, carding a 300 (+12) to drop to seventh.
Jack Tanner is in 16th place with a 142 (-2) and eight shots off the lead. Dohrer is one stroke behind at 143 (-1) and is in 20th place.
Matthew Schaefer is +3 overall,
Ty Kretz is +5 and
Noah Boraas is +6.
Missouri tops the team standings with a 544 (-32) scorecard. Jack Parker of Missouri leads the field at -10.
The Jackrabbits will play the final round of the tournament Tuesday.
