OMAHA, Neb. - Led by top-10 days from
McKenzie Mages,
Alex Kandolin and
Piper Stubbs, the South Dakota State women's golf team is in second place after 36 holes at the Big O Classic.
The Jackrabbits were paced by Mages, who carded a 151 (+5) in windy conditions Monday. She is in sixth place. The sophomore opened the day with a 76 (+3) and followed that up with a 75 (+2) on the second lap.
Kandolin is one shot behind Mages and tied for seventh place with a 152 (+6). Stubbs is in a tie for ninth (153, +7).
Reese Jansa is not far behind in a tie for 13th place with a 155 (+9) scorecard.
Tatum Depuydt, who is competing individually, is in a tie for 15th place at +10 (156).
Shakira-Ann Kuys is tied for 26th (158, +12).
The Jacks tallied a 610 (+26) team score over Monday's two rounds. St. Thomas is in first with a 599 (+15). The Tommies' Niki Reineke and Kathryn VanArragon are in first and second, respectively, on the player leaderboard.
