The South Dakota State women's golf program announced its schedule for the 2023-24 season Wednesday. The Jackrabbits will participate in four tournaments during the fall and six tournaments in the spring, including the Summit League Championships in late April.
The team opens the season at the Redbird Invitational hosted by Illinois State September 10-11 in Normal, Illinois. The Jacks will then travel to Vail, Colorado for the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (September 25-27). SDSU's fall season continues at the Big O Classic hosted by Omaha and Creighton October 2-3 in Omaha. The Jackrabbits close out the fall slate at the Tommie Invitational October 10-12 in Minneapolis.
State will kick off the spring season February 18-19 at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational hosted by Michigan State in Sarasota, Florida before traveling to Reynolds Lake Oconee, Georgia for the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational (February 23-25). The Jacks will host the Jackrabbit Invitational at the Boulder Creek Golf Club March 11-12 in Boulder City, Nevada. The team will then head to the Western Illinois Invite at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois April 5-6. SDSU will also take part in the Stampede at the Creek in Elkhorn, Nebraska on a to-be-determined date.Â
The Summit League Championships is slated for April 21-23 in Lincoln, Nebraska.Â
Ericka Schneider returns for her second season as the head coach of the Jackrabbits. The team brings back six members from the 2022-23 and adds one freshman to the roster.Â
