WOLCOTT, Colo. - The South Dakota State women's golf team slipped to 14th place during the second round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic Tuesday.
The Jackrabbits team posted a 318 (+30) Tuesday, bringing their two-day total to 615 (+39). The team was in a tie for sixth after day one.
Shakira-Ann Kuys and
Reese Jansa are tied for 32nd place after 36 holes.
Alex Kandolin and
Piper Stubbs are tied for 55th place and
McKenzie Mages is in 87th place.
Pepperdine continues to lead the field. The Waves are 3-under as a squad, 17 shots ahead of second-place High Point. New Mexico State's Alison Gastelum and Central Arkansas' Madison Holmes are tied for the individual lead, also at 3-under-par.
The SDSU squad returns to the course at 9:15 a.m. MT Wednesday for the final round.
