STILLWATER, Minn. - South Dakota State golfers
McKenzie Mages and
Shakira-Ann Kuys are tied for third place at the Tommie Invite following Monday's action at StoneRidge Golf Club.
Mages and Kuys finished the day with 6-over-par scores through 36 holes. Mages tallied a +6 scorecard on the opening round, then was even-par for round two. Kuys was +5 over her first lap of the day, then +1 for the second loop.
As a team, SDSU is third of four competing teams, but only six shots off the top of the standings. St. Thomas and North Dakota are tied for the lead (607, +31) with the Jackrabbits not far behind (613, +37).
Piper Stubbs is in eighth place, only two strokes behind her teammates. Stubbs recorded a +8 overall day (77-75—152).
Molly O'Hara is tied for 20th place (161, +17).
Reese Jansa rounds out the lineup in 25th place (164, +20).
Tatum Depuydt and
Anna Hjartardottir are competing individually for the Jackrabbits. Depuydt is tied for 26th place (165, +21) and Hjartardottir is in 29th (168, +24)
