EATONTON, Ga. - The South Dakota State women's golf team jumped two spots on the leaderboard during Saturday's round at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite.
The Jackrabbits are up to 12th place in the standings after a 308 (+20) Saturday.
Shakira-Ann Kuys has the top two-round scorecard for SDSU (74-78--152) and his in a tie for 20th place with 18 holes left to play.
Piper Stubbs turned in the best Jackrabbit scorecard of the day - a 74 (+2) - and is two shots behind Kuys on the leaderboard. She is tied for 30th place.
Reese Jansa is tied for 41st place (80-76--156), followed by
Alex Kandolin in a tie for 62nd place (82-79--161).
Molly O'Hara is in 72nd place (83-86--169).
Stubbs has six birdies on the weekend to lead the squad and is fifth in that category among all golfers. Jansa has five and Kuys has four. Kuys has also parred on 23 holes, the most on the team.
Mercer is 7-over as a team and leads the field. Mercer's Mikayla Dubnik and Western Kentucky's Addie Westbrook sit atop the individual board at 2-under-par.
SDSU returns to the course Sunday morning for the final round. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. CT.
