JACKRABBIT INVITE LIVE RESULTS
BOULDER CITY, Nev. - South Dakota State's
Bryson Mercier fired a pair of under-par rounds Friday to lead the Jackrabbits on day one of the team's home tournament at Boulder Creek Golf Club. Both Mercier and the Jackrabbit team are in first place in the standings with 18 holes to be played Saturday.
Mercier tallied a 70 (-2) on the first lap of the day followed by a 71 (-1) for round two. He is tied for first place with UC Santa Barbara's Blake McGovern. Mercier posted 10 total holes under par, including an eagle, for a 141 (-3) tally. The sophomore was joined in the top five by classmate
Tyler Seeling, who is tied for fifth place. Seeling recorded a 76 (+4) in the first round, then a career-best 68 (-4) in round two. He had two eagles during the second round and holds a 133 (E) scorecard.
Ty Kretz is tied for 12th place with a 146 (+2). He had 10 birdies on the day.
Luke Honner is tied for 32nd place (152, +8) and
Jonah Dohrer is tied for 69th (159, +15) to round out the team.
Blake Schaper led the individual squad Friday. He tallied a 149 (+5) two-round score and is tied for 25th place.
Lucas Schaefbauer is tied for 45th place, followed by
Tucker D'Allaird in a tie for 54th and
Marco Lin in a tie for 81st place.
The SDSU team tallied a 583 (+7) team score over the first two rounds. It holds a two-shot lead over UC Santa Barbara.

The Jackrabbits return to the course to play the final 18 holes Saturday. Action will begin with a shotgun start at 7 a.m. MT.
