The South Dakota State men's golf team completed the first day of competition at both the Tiger Intercollegiate and Augustana Invite Monday.
Six Jackrabbits are in Columbia, Missouri for the Tiger Intercollegiate hosted by Missouri. SDSU is in 17th place following the first 36 holes. The squad has a 587 (+19) team score.
Ty Kretz is 1-under to lead the Jacks. He is tied for 19th place with a 141 (-1) scorecard.
Luke Honner is only one shot back, tied for 26th place. He fired a 68 (-3) in his second round.
Blake Schaper, SDSU's individual competitor, is tied for 66th place.
Bryson Mercier and
Jonah Dohrer are tied for 87th and
Tyler Seeling is tied for 98th place.
The Central Arkansas team is in first place with a 15-under-par 553 tally. Mizzou's Jack Lundin sits atop the individual leaderboard.
At the Augustana Invite in Sioux Falls,
Lucas Schaefbauer,
Tucker D'Allaird and
Marco Lin are competing as individuals. Schaefbauer is in fifth place after 18 holes with a 74 (+2) score. D'Allaird and Lin are tied for 12th at +6. Augustana's Will Allen leads all players at 1-under.
UP NEXT
The final round of both events will be played Tuesday.
