MADISON, Wis. - The South Dakota State men's golf team is prepped to compete at the Badger Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Sunday through Tuesday at University Ridge Golf Course.Â
The lineup consists of Ty Kretz in the No. 1 spot, followed by Bryson Mercier, Tyler Seeling, Blake Schaper and Jake Olson.Â
LAST TIME OUT
The Jackrabbits finished in sixth place at the Git-R-Done Invitational hosted by Nebraska September 23-24 at Firethorn Golf Club.
The Jacks were even-par as a team for the final lap and overall finished with a +8 scorecard. SDSU was led by Ty Kretz, who finished in a tie for 14th place. He was even-par over 54 holes and wrapped the tournament with a +3 final 18 holes. Bryson Mercier was one shot behind Kretz and tied for 16th place.
Tyler Seeling fired a blistering 66 (-5) over the final 18 holes, the best single-round of his career, and ended up +4 overall. Blake Schaper finished 35th, up nine spots from his Monday placing. He was also +1 on the final round and was +7 overall. Drew Teeter rounded out the Jackrabbit lineup in 62nd place with a +19 tally.

The Jackrabbits continue on to the Alister MacKenzie Invitational October 7-8 in Fairfax, California.Â
