BROOKINGS, S.D. - The South Dakota State women's basketball team is set to host its second-annual National Girls & Women in Sports Celebration game Saturday, February 8 at First Bank & Trust Arena.
The Jackrabbits take on Oral Roberts in Summit League action at 11 a.m. that day. SDSU will host pregame activities for all fans with a ticket to the game, including poster making, bracelet making, temporary tattoos and a photo station starting at 10 a.m. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a t-shirt. The team will also sign postgame autographs with a special poster to commemorate the day. Student-athletes from a number of Jackrabbit women's teams will assist with the event.
South Dakota State is again looking for grade-school girls to help with the team's starting lineup for this game. More information will be share on social media in the coming week, so stay tuned to @GoJacksWBB on X, Instagram and Facebook.
