South Dakota State makes its first road trip of the Summit League season this week as the team travels to Denver Thursday and then Oral Roberts Saturday. The Jackrabbits opened Summit action with a five-set win over Omaha last weekend, a positive step toward defending their conference title from a season ago.

- Setter Rylee Martin enters the weekend four assists shy of reaching 1,500 for her career. She is second in the Summit League and 34th in the country in assists per set - 9.92.
- Martin stood out against Omaha last weekend, tallying 53 assists, 12 digs, seven kills and three blocks in the Jackrabbits' five-set win.
- Sylvie Zgonc leads the Jacks with 4.08 kills per set, which is 50th in the country. She surpassed 1,000 career kills at the end of the non-conference season and is one of seven active juniors in the country with 1,000+ kills.
- The Jackrabbits had three losses in the non-conference but avoided being swept. With the exception of the 2024 season, the last time SDSU was not swept prior to the start of conference play was 2012.
- SDSU was picked to win the Summit League in the preseason poll following a 15-1 conference record in 2025.
