ZGONC PICKS UP PEAK PERFORMER HONOR

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State outside hitter Sylvie Zgonc was named the Summit League Kwik Star Offensive Peak Performer of the Week by the league office Tuesday.
Zgonc topped the league in four categories across a dominating week for the Jackrabbits. The Jackrabbit junior tallied 47 kills, 53 points, 5.30 points per set, and 4.70 total points across wins over North Dakota, Oral Roberts, and Denver.
The Hartford, Wis., native racked up 13 kills, nine digs, and three total blocks in a three-set victory over Oral Roberts. The reigning Summit League Player of the Year then recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 11 kills and 11 digs in a three-set win over Oral Roberts.
Zgonc followed that up with arguably her best performance of the week , notching 23 kills, nine digs, a .306 hitting percentage, and four total blocks in a four-set victory over Denver.
