JACKRABBITS FINISH 14TH IN ARIZONA

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. - The South Dakota State men's golf team finished in 14th place at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate Tuesday at Wigwam Resort.
The Jackrabbits finished +33 as a team with an 897 tally. Iowa State won the event with an 837 (-27) scorecard.
SDSU's Ty Kretz went 6-over for the three-round event and finished in a tie for 49th place. Drew Teeter finished one shot back and tied for 55th place.
Bryson Mercier (+13, 73rd place), Jake Olson (+15, 77th place) and Tyler Seeling (+18, 81st place) rounded out the Jackrabbit finishes.
Iowa State's Zachary May pulled ahead of the field on the final round to win medalist honors. He fired a 6-under on Tuesday and finished 10-under overall.

The Jackrabbits will compete in the Tiger Invitational April 7-8 in Columbia, Missouri.
