COLUMBIA, Mo. - The South Dakota State men's golf team continues its spring season at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Mizzou Monday and Tuesday at The Club at Old Hawthorne.Â
Five Jackrabbits will represent SDSU in Columbia, led by senior Ty Kretz in the No. 1 spot. He is joined by Bryson Mercier, Tyler Seeling, Blake Schaper and Drew Teeter.Â
Kretz, Mercier and Seeling have played all 21 rounds for the Jackrabbits across the fall and the spring. Kretz averages just more than 71 shots per round this season to pace the Jacks, followed by Mercier's 72.7 shots per round and Seeling at 74.5.
LAST TIME OUT
The Jackrabbits finished in 14th place at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate last week at Wigwam Resort. SDSU finished +33 as a team with an 897 tally.Â
SDSU's Ty Kretz went 6-over for the three-round event and finished in a tie for 49th place. Drew Teeter finished one shot back and tied for 55th place. Bryson Mercier (+13, 73rd place), Jake Olson (+15, 77th place) and Tyler Seeling (+18, 81st place) rounded out the Jackrabbit finishes.
