HOLLISTER, M.O. - The South Dakota State women's golf team improved five spots on the leaderboard into second place after round two of the Ozarks National Invitational.Â
McKenzie Mages is pacing the Jacks tied in ninth place, shooting +1 during the second round. She is 7-over through 36 holes.Â
Hannah Boraas is just behind Mages in a tie for 12th with a +8 two-day tally.
Reese Jansa and
Riko Danjo are one shot back from Boraas (+9), in a tie for 14th. Jansa carded a 71 (-1) for round two and tallied three birdies.
Molly O'Hara (+18) is tied in 42nd place.Â
Samantha Stites, competing individually, is +18 after the second day. She is tied with O'Hara in 42nd with one round remaining.Â
Host Missouri State holds its lead over the field with a +22 team score, eight shots ahead of SDSU. The Jackrabbits have pulled ahead of Summit League foe South Dakota, which is in third, respectively.Â
NOTES
- The Jackrabbits tallied a par score on 105 holes, the most of all participating teams.Â
- Hannah Boraas is first on par-3 holes, averaging 2.80 shots (-2).Â
