BEFORE SDSU: Assisted his cross country team to a runner-up finish at the State meet three times (2021, 2023, 2024), and one third-place team finish (2022)... Individually finished third in the State meet (2022) and took silver twice (2023, 2024)... Assisted his team to Conference and Section Championships all four years of high school competition (2021-2024)... On the track, Anderson won the 3200m run at the Class A State Championship (2023)... Finished runner-up in the 1600m and eighth in the 3200m at the State meet a year later (2024)... Finished runner-up in the 800m and 1600m at the State meet (2025)... Anderson was a well-rounded student as he graduated with honors (2025), was a National Honor Society member (2023-25), and received Academic All-State honors all four years (2021-25)... Son of Paul and Kimberly Anderson.
