Still perfect at home, South Dakota State returns to the road this week for what may be the most grueling road trip in The Summit League, at UMKC on Thursday and at Southern Utah on Saturday.
Winless on the road in their first two league matches, the Jackrabbits hope to change that against the Kangaroos, who enter the week 0-5 in league play.
The Thunderbirds enter the week with only a pair of league wins, but both came at home, the first on Sept. 10, over IPFW and the second last weekend against UMKC.
The Jacks enter the week riding a two-match win streak after downing Western Illinois in five sets on Friday and IUPUI in four sets on Saturday.
Fiona Jones led the Jacks over the weekend with 42 kills, including a career-high 26 in the win over the Fighting Leathernecks, and got plenty of help from Ellyce Youngren, who tallied 32 kills in the two wins.
SDSU enters the week hitting .171 as a team and allowing opponents to hit .193, but the Jacks do hold a 747-716 edge in digs and a 104-95 edge in total team blocks.

Southern Utah Thunderbirds (4-10, 2-3 Summit) - Following an 11 year absense, SUU restarted the program on Aug. 28 in style, with a win in its first match of the season, one of four wins on the season.
One of those wins came last week in a 3-2 win over UMKC. The T-Birds other league win came at home against IPFW.
Analaine Pelaez leads SUU with 213 kills, Jazmine Ma'afala adds 140 kills for the T-Birds, who hit .173 as a team and allow opponents to hit .214.
The Series vs. Southern Utah - Saturday's match marks the first meeting between the Jacks and T-birds, as SUU restarted its volleyball program this season after dropping it following the 1988 season.
Next up for the Jackrabbits - The Jacks open play next week with a non-conference match on the road at Drake, and then wrap-up the week with a single home match against Summit League front-runner and defending league champion North Dakota State at Frost Arena on Dig Pink night.
