Jacks Back in Action Monday
- The South Dakota State women's basketball team plays its final nonconference game of the regular season when it travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa, Monday for a 7 p.m. game against Northern Iowa.
- The Jackrabbits, 8-4, had their three-game road winning streak snapped Dec. 21, losing 82-64 at Marist College.
- Freshman Macy Miller led the Jacks with a team-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field. Classmate Ellie Thompson scored 12 points off the bench, sinking 4 of 8 shots.
- Northern Iowa, 4-6, won its third consecutive game Dec. 21, defeating Northern Illinois, 51-42. The Jackrabbits are the Panthers' fifth home game in a five-game homestand that started Dec. 8.
- Monday's game marks the ninth meeting between South Dakota State and Northern Iowa. The Jackrabbits lead the series 5-3 after beating the Panthers last year, 80-44, Nov. 17, 2013, in Frost Arena.
