 Jacks Begin Three-Game Road Trip
- After winning its fourth consecutive Summit League opener Friday, the South Dakota State women's basketball team begins a three-game road swing with a 1 p.m. game at North Dakota State Sunday.
- The Jackrabbits bring a modest two-game winning streak into their first Summit League road game while North Dakota State has lost four out of its last five games.
- SDSU opened Summit League play with an 85-44 win over Denver Friday. Sophomore Kerri Young scored a season-high 21 points to lead four Jackrabbits in double figures.
- NDSU snapped a four-game losing streak with a 77-64 win over Oral Roberts Friday. Senior guard Brooke LeMar scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Bison.
- Sunday's game marks the 80th meeting between South Dakota State and North Dakota State. The Jackrabbits lead the series 41-38 after beating the Bison in eight straight games, including twice last year.
- Sunday's game will be televised live regionally on Midco Sports Net (626 HD channel, standard channel 26). Tom Nieman will call the play-by-play, Brad Newitt will provide the color commentary and Brian Shwan reporting courtside.
- The game will also be available on ESPN3 and is part of the ESPN's Full Court package.
