Jacks Continue Road Trip at Oral
- The South Dakota State women's basketball team looks to regroup on the road as it continues its three-game road swing Friday at 7 p.m. at Oral Roberts.Â
- SDSU is 16-8 overall, 7-4 in league play and is in a three-way tie for second place in The Summit League standings. The Jackrabbits dropped their eighth game of the season and fourth league road game at Denver Wednesday, 77-72.
- Freshman Macy Miller scored a career-high 30 points to lead three Jackrabbits in double digits in scoring.Â
- SDSU will be looking for its second series sweep Friday, already sweeping Fort Wayne.
- Oral Roberts has a modest three-game winning streak after knocking off North Dakota State, 67-41, Wednesday.
- ORU enter Friday's game with an 11-1 overall home record and a 6-0 home record in Summit League games. Its lone home loss this season in the Mabee Center was to Grand Canyon, 54-51, Dec. 12.
- The Golden Eagles are also in fifth place in The Summit League standings.
- Friday's game marks the 14th meeting between South Dakota State and Oral Roberts. SDSU leads the series 7-6 after the Jackrabbits defeated the Golden Eagles, 71-46, in Frost Arena Jan. 31.

- With its loss at Denver Wednesday, SDSU is now two games behind first place South Dakota in The Summit League standings.
- SDSU lost another Jackrabbit to injury last week. Sophomore Chynna Stevens has a foot injury. No timetable has been given for her return. Freshman Ellie Thompson made her first collegiate start, replacing Stevens, in the Fort Wayne win Feb. 8 and started at Denver Wednesday.
- The Jacks' three-game road trip is their last of the regular season. They close their schedule with three home games Feb. 21-28.
- South Dakota State is 47-17 (.734) in Summit League road games and has won 10 of its last 14.
- The Jackrabbits are 109-22 (.832) overall in Summit League games since joining the league in 2007-08. The Jacks have won 12 of their last 16, dating to a 71-60 win over Omaha Feb. 13, 2014.

- Friday's game marks the 14th meeting between South Dakota State and Oral Roberts—a series that began when the Jackrabbits joined The Summit League at the start of the 2007-08 season.
- SDSU leads the series, 7-6, after the Jackrabbits defeated the Golden Eagles, 71-46, Jan. 31 in Frost Arena for its second consecutive win in the series. SDSU's previous win in the series was a 79-75 overtime victory in the 2010 Summit League championship game in Sioux Falls.
- With a 77-62 victory at Frost Arena Jan. 8, 2011, ORU became the first Summit League team to win twice on the Jackrabbits' home floor since SDSU became a league member at the start of the 2007-08 season.

First-Half Run Leads to Win
- A 24-3 run midway in the first half powered the South Dakota State women's basketball to a 71-46 victory over Oral Roberts University Jan. 29 in Summit League action in front of 1,841 fans at Frost Arena.
- The Jackrabbits had four players score in double figures. Macy Miller led the Jackrabbits with 16 points, 10 coming in the first half. Mariah Clarin added 12 points while Megan Waytashek and Kerri Young each scored 10 points. Clarin added eight rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots.
- Oral Roberts were led by Vicky McIntyre's 16 points, 20 rebounds and 9 blocked shots.
- After Oral Roberts opened the game on a 15-4 run, the Jackrabbits answered with a 14-0 run for an 18-15 lead after a steal and basket by Miller with 8:25 left in the half. South Dakota State pushed the lead to 10 points when Clarin scored six straight points for a 28-18 lead with 4:40 remaining. The Jacks then closed the half on a 12-4 run for a 40-22 halftime lead.
