WHAT TO WATCH
• South Dakota State will appear in its sixth NCAA Tournament. The Jackrabbits are a No. 14 seed for the second time.
• A win over Oregon State means a meeting with either George Washington or Gonzaga. Two wins and the Jackrabbits are in the regionals for the first time.
• SDSU has advanced past the NCAA First Round in 2009, beating TCU, 90-55, March 22, 2009.
• SDSU's senior class is 0-3 in the NCAA Championship, having advanced to the first round in 2013, 2012 and 2011.
• South Dakota State will have had 10 days between games when tip-off occurs Friday. That's the longest layoff in the program's history since a 17-day gap between the end of a regular season and the first round of the WNIT first round game in 2008.
