After posting a 2-1 record away from the friendly confines of Frost Arena, the South Dakota State women's basketball team returns home for four games starting with Northern Iowa Thursday at 7 p.m. The Jackrabbits will be protecting a 10-game regular-season home win streak, dating to Jan. 11, 2017.

SDSU won both of its games in the Puerto Rico Clasico in Ft. Lauderdale last week. It upset No. 23 N.C. State, 75-67, and had a come-from-behind win against Charlotte, 71-70.

Junior Macy Miller and Madison Guebert averaged 20.5 and 20.0 points, respectively, in the two contests.

Northern Iowa is 2-3 on the season after dropping a 53-43 game at Central Florida Nov. 26.

Thursday's game will be the 12th meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Panthers. State leads the series 8-3 and has won the last five games, including the last four in Frost Arena.

- South Dakota State has started the season 5-1 for the second consecutive season and for the fourth time since moving to Division I.
- The last time the Jackrabbits played four home games in a row was in the 2015-16 season when they played four between Feb. 6 and Feb. 18. State went 4-0.
- Macy Miller has 20-or-more points in three games. She averages 18.3 points per game going into Thursday's game.

- South Dakota State is ranked second in the Nov. 28 CollegeInsider Mid-Major poll.

- The Panthers' leading scorer is senior Kennedy Kirkpatrick. The guard is averaging 13.2 points per game while sophomore forward Megan Maahs is scoring 10.6 points per game.
- On the boards, UNI is outrebounding opponents by 5.8 boards a game. Maahs averages a team-leading 12.8 caroms an outing. She ranks second in the NCAA in defensive rebounds (47) and seventh in rebounds per game.
- Junior guard Ellie Howell and Kirkpatrick are the Panthers' top 3-point threats, sinking six 3-pointers each. UNI averages 5.8 treys per game.
- Kirkpatrick dishes 3.6 assists per game.
- UNI has five players averaging 5.0-or-more points and six averaging 10-or-more minutes per game.

- South Dakota State assistant coach Katie (Miller) Falco was a standout player at Northern Iowa from 1999-2003, ending her career fifth on the career scoring charts with 1,343 points.
- A first-team all-Missouri Valley Conference performer in 2003, she finished second in the league with 18.2 points per game in leading the Panthers to their second Women's NIT appearance in three years. She set a UNI record for career free-throws made with 411 and free-throw percentage at 82.4. Additionally, Falco made a MVC-record 53 consecutive free throws during her freshman season.
