After hosting four-straight home games in the friendly confines of Frost Arena the last two weeks, the South Dakota State women's basketball team travels south for a 4 p.m. game at Creighton Friday.

SDSU improved to 8-2 with a 76-44 win over Bowling Green Dec. 9. Macy Miller scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Creighton, 5-3, has won its last two games. It defeated Omaha, 72-51, in its last outing Dec. 10.

Friday's game will be the 10th meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Bluejays. Creighton leads the series 6-3.

Noteworthy
- The Jackrabbits received three votes in Monday's Associated Press poll, three votes in Tuesday's USA Today's Coaches poll and are second in the CollegeInsider Mid-Major poll.
- SDSU was also ranked second in Graham Hays' Dec. 13 espnW mid-major poll.
- State has held seven of its 10 opponents to 65-or-fewer points, including three to less than 50. Opponents are averaging just 58 points in the last five games.
- There have been at least three Jackrabbits scoring in double digits in four of 10 games.
- Macy Miller has scored 20-or-more points four times. She averages 17.0 points per game.
- South Dakota State needs two wins to record 950 wins in the program's 52 years. The Jacks have a 948-413 (.696) all-time record.

- Agnew leads Creighton with 6.8 rebounds per game and the Bluejays are being outrebounded by 1.5 boards a game.
- Agnew is the squad's top 3-point threat, sinking 44.3 percent (27-61) of her shots.

- Friday's game marks the 10th meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Bluejays.
- Creighton holds a 6-3 series lead. The Jacks are 1-3 vs. the Bluejays on the road.
- South Dakota State's only win in Omaha was a 53-51 victory Dec. 12, 2015. State used a 7-4 run to finish the game for the win. Macy Miller had a game-high 15 points.
- In last year's 63-56 win in Frost Arena to open the season, four Jackrabbits finished with double digits in scoring led by Kerri Young's 17 points.
- SDSU had its 22-game home winning streak snapped by the Bluejays Nov. 18, 2016, with an 88-81 loss in Frost.
