The South Dakota State women's basketball team plays its second nationally ranked team this season when it hosts No. 4/5 Louisville Sunday in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.

SDSU improved to 6-1 with a 57-47 hard-fought win over Northern Iowa Thursday.

Louisville, 7-0, is one of 22 Division I teams still undefeated after a 72-59 win at Indiana Thursday. This season, the Cardinals have knocked off three ranked teams and captured the preseason WNIT.

- South Dakota State sports a 3-0 home record and is protecting an 11-game regular-season home win streak, dating to last January.
