The South Dakota State women's basketball team concludes its four-game homestand Saturday when it hosts Fort Wayne at 2 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.

Tom Nieman will call the play-by-play, Brad Newitt will provide the color commentary and Elaina Lanson will be reporting from the sidelines for the Midco Sports Network. The game can also be heard live on The Jackrabbit Sports Network with Scotty Kwas on WNAX 570 AM.

The Jackrabbits are 16-5 overall and 5-1 in The Summit League and sit second in league play, a game and half behind South Dakota.

SDSU had its seven-game home win streak snapped Thursday, losing 67-61 to South Dakota. Summit League Player of the Year candidate Macy Miller scored 18 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished three assists in the loss.

SDSU has won 10 of the last 14 games against league members, dating to last season.

Fort Wayne is 4-16 overall and 1-6 in league play. The Mastodons lost its last outing, 72-56 at North Dakota State Jan. 20.

Saturday's game will be the 31st meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Mastodons. SDSU leads the series 29-1 and is 11-1 in Frost Arena.

Saturday's doubleheader is a #CodeBlue day inside Frost Arena, where fans are encouraged to wear blue alongside the Jackrabbit basketball teams.

The first 250 fans and 250 students will receive CodeBlue t-shirts with 500 CodeBlue rally towels available for students.

Fans in attendance can purchase a Pork Classic meal that includes pork loin sandwiches, chips, applesauce, SDSU Ice Cream and a water for $8 between 1-2:30 p.m.

Jackrabbit Ticket Office Update
Jackrabbit fans wanting to catch Summit League basketball at Frost Arena have access to a pair of deals through the Jackrabbit Ticket Office. Fans can purchase general admission tickets to all men's and women's conference games for $75, or choose a mini plan and pick three Summit League games to attend for $30.

SDSU is 477-121 (.797) all-time in home games, including 79-8 (.908) in home Summit League games.
South Dakota State is ranked second in Graham Hays' Jan. 24 espnW mid-major poll. It was ranked No. 1 in the Nov. 15 poll and second in the Nov. 29, Dec. 13 and Jan. 9 polls.
The Jackrabbits have won eight of their last 10 contests.
State has held 13 of its 21 opponents to 65-or-fewer points, including four to less than 50.
There have had at least three Jackrabbits scoring in double digits in 13 of 21 games. In the last five games, two Jacks are averaging double figures, led by Macy Miller's 23.2 ppg.
Miller has scored 20-or-more points 10 times. She averages 18.5 points per game.

Poll Positions

South Dakota State received a vote in this week's Associated Press poll.
The last time the Jacks received votes in either poll was Dec. 11, when they had three votes in each of the AP and Coaches polls.
The highest SDSU has ever been ranked is 16th in the AP poll March 9, 2009, and 14th in the Coaches poll March 2, 2009.

Jackrabbits in Mid-Major Poll

South Dakota State was ranked third in the Jan. 23 CollegeInsider Mid-Major poll.
SDSU has been ranked in the Mid-Major Top 25 Poll 111 of the last 112 weeks.
The Jackrabbits, who were picked No. 1 in last year's preseason poll, finished 15th at the end of the 2016-17 season.

Fort Wayne enters Saturday's game looking to snap a three-game losing streak. It is also playing for its first road win of the season. The Mastodons are 4-16 overall and 1-6 in league play.
FW is led offensively by junior De'Jour Young. The guard is averaging 11.2 points per game.
The Mastodons average 57.5 points per game and give up 73.4.
Young averages a team-leading 5.8 rebounds. The Dons are being outrebounded by 1.0 caroms a game.
Sophomore guard Anna Lappenkuper is dishing 2.4 assists per game and three Mastodons have 30-or-more assists.
Freshman guard Kierstyn Repp is FW's top 3-point threat, sinking 34.6 percent (44-127) of her shots.
Fort Wayne has six players averaging five-or-more points and nine averaging 10-or-more minutes per game.
The Dons are shooting 38.6 percent from the field, 31.1 percent from 3-point range and 77.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Breaking Down the Fort Wayne Series

Saturday's game marks the 31st meeting between SDSU and Fort Wayne.
The Jacks, who lead the series 29-1, won the first 12 games of the series and currently have a 17-game winning streak after defeating Fort Wayne,76-59, Feb. 18, 2017, in Indiana.
The Mastodons' lone win was a 70-67 overtime victory Jan. 22, 2011, at Frost Arena.
SDSU holds the series lead in Summit League regular-season games, 24-1; is 5-0 in The Summit League Championship, and 13-0 on the road vs. the 'Dons.
FW has never scored more than 74 points in the series.
The Jacks are 1-1 in overtime games in the series. They beat the 'Dons 74-72 Feb. 4, 2008, and lost 70-67 Jan. 22, 2011.
