Dallas Goedert (Philadelphia Eagles) SDSU: 2014-17
Weekly Notes: Goedert started his eighth game of the season, third straight, as the Philadelphia Eagles knocked off the Los Angeles Rams, 30-23. He played 61 percent of the offensive snaps (39) and 15 special teams plays while catching both of his targets for 12 yards on Sunday night.

On the Eagles' first drive of the game, second play, QB Nick Foles dumped a short pass of to the left for the SDSU alum and he rumbled 10 yards to pick up their first first down of the game. The drive led to a 51-yard field goal to give Philly the 3-0 lead midway through the first quarter.

Foles looked to the rookie tight end once more, this time on third-and-two from their own 33-yard line with under five minutes to play in the first half. Goedert caught another short pass on the right side of the field and picked up the first down. The drive ended with a touchdown that gave Philadelphia a 13-10 with just over a minute left in the half.

Season Notes: Caught his first TD of his NFL career against the Indianapolis Colts (Sept. 23) on a 13-yard throw behind the linebackers - Goedert ran up the right seam and settled behind the secondary ... also added his most yards (73), catches (7), and targets (7) in the game vs. the Colts ... career-long is vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars (Oct. 28) - a 32-yard grab on a play-action route that wheeled Goedert up the backside of the play en route to juke a defender and rumble into the end zone (third TD of the season, back-to-back games with a TD reception) ... nearly grabbed his first career pass as a touchdown in the first game of the NFL regular season (vs. Falcons, Sept. 6) - 19-yard pass attempt down the right sideline where Goedert caught it but was only able to get one foot in the end zone ... recorded his first career catch in the third quarter, a four-yard grab against the Falcons (Sept. 6) ... added his second TD of the season vs. the Carolina Panthers (Oct. 21) on a one-yard flag route that he cut short because the defender over-ran the route - nearly scored a few plays earlier on what would have been a 12 yard TD in the middle of the end zone but the ball was knocked out of his hands in tight coverage ... has played 352 offensive snaps (143 special teams) and has had 36 targets for 27 catches and 267 yards and four touchdowns through 14 games ... 2018 Preseason: scored his first touchdown in his debut preseason game, a 31-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers (Aug. 9) ... his most catches (four) and receiving yards (66) came in his preseason debut against the Steelers while his longest catch (28) came against the New England Patriots (Aug. 16) ... has gathered nine catches for 149 yards and one touchdown through three preseason games (132 offensive plays).

Adam Vinatieri (Indianapolis Colts) SDSU: 1991-94
Weekly Notes: Vinatieri scored 11 points by going three-for-three on field goals (making it from 23, 43, and 44) and two-for-two on point-after attempts in the 23-0 win over the Dallas Cowboys. That game marked Vinatieri's 191st game played with the Colts passing WR Marvin Harrison for the ninth-most games played in team history.

The Colts took a 10-0 lead into the locker room as Vinatieri knocked in a 43-yarder as time expires. It capped off an 11-play, 59-yard drive.

The SDSU alum added the last six points of the game, chipping in a 44-yarder off a 10-play, 63-yard drive in the third and a 23-yarder of a 12-play, 55-yard drive in the fourth. His last field goal gave him 100 points on the season, extending his NFL record to 21 seasons with atleast 100 points.

With his two field goals made from 43 and 44 respectively, he passed Gary Anderson (161) for the most field goals made from 40-49 yards in NFL history.

Bryan Witzmann (Chicago Bears) SDSU: 2010-13
Weekly Notes: Witzmann started his sixth consecutive game for the Chicago Bears, beating the Green Bay Packers 24-17 and clinching the NFC North for the first time since 2010. The Bears' offense total 332 yards - 232 through the air and 100 on the ground while averaging 5.7 yards per play.

Chicago never trailed in the game (tied once) en route to a 7-1 record at home - their best record at Soldier Field since the 2005 season - and are the only team in the NFL to hold a second-half lead in every game this season.

Witzmann and the offense only allowed one sack and had two 60-plus drives in the first half and a 45-yard drive in the second half that all led to touchdowns. He played all the offensive snaps (60) and four special teams plays.

Witzmann has been to the playoffs all three years he's played a snap in the NFL (2016 Divisional Rd. - Kansas City Chiefs, 2017 Wild Card Rd. - Kansas City Chiefs, 2018 Playoffs - Clinched NFC North). The SDSU alum is 6-1 when playing significant snaps with the Bears, 5-1 as a starter (lone loss is an overtime loss to the NY Giants in Wk. 13).

Zach Zenner (Detriot Lions) SDSU: 2011-14
Weekly Notes: Zenner earned his first start of the 2018 NFL season, sixth of his career, as the Detroit Lions lost to the Buffalo Bills, 14-13. The SDSU alum played offensive 26 snaps (46 percent) - his best of the season - and 17 special teams plays while adding 10 carries for 45 yards and a touchdown.

Zenner also saw action in the passing game with four targets, hauling in three of them, for a long of five yards (ended up with no receiving yards).

In the second quarter with 3:50 left to play, the Jackrabbit RB punched in a one-yard touchdown on third-and-goal after two previous tries to get into the endzone from the 10-yard line. On first down, he stopped after a six-yard run over the left guard.

On second-and-goal, Zenner rushed again for what looked like a four-yard TD but it was reviewed and reversed to just a three-yard run, setting up the one-yard score on the next play to make it 13-7 before halftime.

The running back started the second half with a 17-yard rush off the left guard in the opening drive. QB Matthew Stafford overthrew him on the next play and the Lions were eventually forced to punt.

Down 14-13 with 10:26 left in the game, Zenner added 16 yards to open the drive - a five-yard catch and an 11-yard run - that eventually setup their last scoring chance - a 48-yard field goal that was missed.
