Kyle Burdick started the weekend with recording his personal-best mark (8:07.26) in the 3,000m. It was the SDSU Classic meet record and the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex record in the event.

He also moves up from third on the school's top 10 list to second all-time.

He has won all three 3,000m races he's competed in as a Jackrabbit.

On Saturday, Burdick finished the SDSU Classic with another personal-best in the mile (4:04.89) that shattered another meet and facility record. It is ranked first in The Summit League's performance list and it's tied for 70th in the country.

Mason Leiseth recorded his personal-best in the shot put, out-throwing his father, who is now fourth on the all-time list after Mason threw a 56-01.25 to be listed second all-time on the school's top 10 list.

For the women's team, the 5,000m race on Saturday was the first opportunity to run the distance this season. Junior
Rachel King recorded her career-best time in the event, which is the indoor school record. Her time of 16:29.88 is 10.93 seconds faster than the school record set by Allison Lind in 2001 (16:40.81).

Bryant Courter finished third in the long jump (24-00.25) on Friday. It is Courter's 11th top-three finish of his career, third straight this season. He has finished in the top three in every indoor long jump competition as a Jackrabbit (7 meets).

Then on Saturday, Courter resets the school record for the third time this season in the triple jump (50-04.50). He now has the meet record in the SDSU Holiday Open, Jim Emmerich, and the SDSU Indoor Classic.
