SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—For the first time in her career, South Dakota State's
Myah Selland was named The Summit League Player of the Week Monday.

The guard/forward averaged a team-leading 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line in the two wins.

In the Jackrabbits' win over Denver Jan. 9, Selland tallied 18 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. She shot 66.7 percent from the floor, sinking 8 of 12. She also recorded her second career double-double.

The Letcher native logged 18 points and seven rebounds in a win over Oral Roberts Jan. 12. Selland also had three assists, a block and a steal while shooting 40.0 percent from the field and was six for six from the free-throw line.

For the season, Selland ranks third on the team and 11
th in The Summit League in scoring, averaging 13.5 points per game. She is also averaging 5.7 rebounds per game and a team-best 3.6 assists per game. Selland is shooting 51.4 percent from the field, 32.6 percent from 3-point range and 81.3 percent from the foul line. She has scored 20-or-more points twice and in double figures in 14 games.

Selland needs 18 points to reach 500 career points.
