Macy Miller become the first South Dakota State women's basketball player to score 2,000 career points, but it wasn't enough as the Jackrabbits lost 105-98 in double overtime to South Dakota in a Summit League game Sunday afternoon in front of 6,004 fans at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

The Jacks fall to 10-6 overall and 2-1 in league play, while the Coyotes are 14-3, 2-1.

Miller tied a career high with a game-high 31 points on 11-of-17 shooting. She also dished five assists and had two steals.
Tagyn Larson scored a career-high 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting and had a personal-best five blocks.
Myah Selland had 19 points and five assists while
Madison Guebert added 15 points.

USD was led by Ciara Duffy with 28 points. Hannah Sjerven added 23 points and Allison Arens chipped in 20 points.

The Jackrabbits, who trailed 39-37 at halftime, opened the second half on an 11-3 run to take a 48-42 lead at 5:34. After a USD basket, a Miller 3-pointer gave SDSU its largest lead of the half, 51-44. South Dakota State led 56-51 after three quarters.

A 7-0 run three minutes into the fourth quarter gave USD a 64-63 lead. The Coyotes held a three-point lead, 80-77, with 11.5 seconds to play, but Miller sank a transition 3-pointer with 6.7 on the clock to tie the game. Larson blocked a USD shot at the buzzer to force overtime.

The Jackrabbits took an 89-82 lead in overtime when Miller, Larson and Selland combined for nine points. USD forced a second overtime with a 9-3 run to tie the game at 91-91.

South Dakota outscored the Jackrabbits 14-7 in double overtime, making 8 of 12 free throws.

- With 31 points today, Miller is the sixth player in Summit League history with more than 2,000 career points. She has 2,002.
- Miller now has four career 30-plus point games.
- Guebert moved into eighth in career scoring at SDSU with 1,565 career points.
- The last double-overtime game for the Jackrabbits was a 68-66 win over IUPUI Jan. 21, 2016, in Frost Arena.
