SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—For the second time this season and 11th time in her career, South Dakota State women's basketball student-athlete
Macy Miller was named The Summit League Player of the Week Monday.

The senior guard averaged a team-leading 20.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 55.0 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from 3-point range and was 16 of 19 from the free-throw line in two wins. Miller also had an impressive 4.5 assist-to-turnover ratio.

In the Jackrabbits' win over Purdue Fort Wayne Feb. 20, Miller tallied 12 points, five rebounds, six assists and a block. She shot 40.0 percent from the floor and was a perfect four for four from the foul line.

The Mitchell native logged her 10th 20-plus point game of the season with a game-high 28 points in an overtime win against No. 23 South Dakota Feb. 24. Miller also had eight rebounds and three assists while shooting 70 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from long range. She posted career highs with 12 made free throws and 15 free-throw attempts.

For the season, Miller leads the Jackrabbits in scoring, averaging 17.2 points per game. She is also averaging 5.6 rebounds per game and team bests with 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Miller is shooting 54.3 percent from the field, 44.4 percent from 3-point range and 84.3 percent from the foul line.

Miller enters her final regular-season game Saturday with 2,199 career points, 79 points short of passing The Summit League's all-time scoring leader, Oral Roberts' Kevi Luper (2009-12; 2,277 points).
