SIOUX FALLS – Haley Greer was named the Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week announced Monday by the league office.

Greer, a graduate transfer from Colgate, turned in a career-best 20 points in her Jackrabbit debut to lead State to a 76-69 victory in the season opener over No. 15 Iowa State. She shot 66.7 percent (6-of-9) from the field, including making 4-of-6 from long distance. Additionally, Greer made 4-of-4 free throws and pulled down three rebounds.

The Winnetka, Ill. native added two rebounds, two assists and a team-best two blocks.

South Dakota State continues its three-game homestand as it hosts Creighton Monday. The Jackrabbits and Bluejays will tip at 6 p.m. inside Frost Arena.
