South Dakota State women's golf announced the addition of Jan Browne for the 2020-21 season.

Maggie Murphy. "Jan has represented her country internationally and has experience in top amateur events. Her physical skills set her apart and we are happy she chose to be a Jackrabbit!"

Browne was a member of the Irish Under 16 team in 2017 as well as the Irish under 18 team that finished second in the Home Internationals in 2019. The Kilkenny, Ireland native was part of the Leinster that won Interprovincials three consecutive years (2017-2019).

This past year, Browne was the leading qualifier and the winner of the Ulster Girls. She has finished in the top eight of the Irish Ladies Close in 2016, 2018 and 2019.

Browne will graduate from Loreto Secondary School Kilkenny and plans to major in psychology at SDSU in the fall.

The Jackrabbits return to action Feb. 21-23 at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Collegiate in Greensboro, Ga.
