BOULDER CITY – South Dakota State women's golf and
Teresa Toscano captured first place at the Jackrabbit Invitational Tuesday.

The Jackrabbits finished the event with a 54-hole total of 897 (+33). In the final round, State posted a season-low 291 (+3). Gonzaga finished second with 918 (+54) while Hawaii finished in third with 924 (+60). Summit League foe, Oral Roberts finished fourth with a 54-hole score of 934 (+70).

The Jackrabbits won the event for the second year in a row and Toscano captured the fifth individual title in her career, three of which have come at the Jackrabbit Invitational.

Teresa Toscano carded a three-under 69 in the final round to capture the individual title with a 54-hole score of 218 (+2).
Cassidy Laidlaw improved to second after firing a two-under 70 in the last 18 holes for a total of 220 (+6).

Competing as an individual,
Alex Kandolin finished tied for sixth with 72-80-76—228 (+12).

After being tied for 22
nd after two rounds of play,
Lani Potter shot a one-over 73 in the final round to finish 10
th with a three-round total of 231 (+15).
Hester Sicking recorded a 79 (+7) in the final round to finish tied for 18
th with 235 (+19).
Mia Seeman tied for 26
th with 73-84-82—238 (+22).

The women will play the Lady Thunderbird Invitational, hosted by Southern Utah University March 11-12 in St. George, Utah.
