NEWTON, Kan. – The South Dakota State men's golf team finished tied for fifth at the 2021 Summit League Men's Golf Championship.

The Jackrabbits posted their best 18-hole team score of the tournament with a 4-over 292 in the final round. The Jackrabbits finished with a 54-hole score of 892 (304-396-292). Denver won the team title by shooting a 1-over 865 and finishing eight strokes ahead of Oral Roberts (873).

Liam Georgiadis and
Jack Tanner finished tied for seventh with 54-hole totals of 220 (+4). Both Tanner and Georgiadis shot a 72 (E) in the final round.

Will Frazier and
Matthew Schaefer each finished with 226 (+10) to tie for 20
th. Schaefer carded a 72 (E) in the final round to climb 12 spots on the leaderboard.
Sam Batta tied for 38
th with 82-77-78—237 (+21).
