SIOUX FALLS --- South Dakota State University Women's Cross Country gets a individual victory as sophomore
Leah Hansen took top prize as the Jackrabbits would finish fourth as a team.

SDSU scored a total of 94 points which was good for fourth place out of the 27 teams in competition Friday night under the lights.

Top Five Jacks:
Hansen had a fantastic debut to the season as she outlasted Abby Riperda of University of South Dakota with by .73 seconds with a meet-clinching time of 18:15.17.

Senior
Anna Donnay was the next Jackrabbit to find the line as she paced fairly close behind Hansen in fourth overall clocking in at 18:23.04.

Junior Jesssica Christoffer (18:52.65) and senior
Oksana Johnson (19:19.91) were the No. 3 & 4 runners finishing in 18th and 39th place, respectively.

Rounding out the score for the Jacks was sophomore
Nicole Greyer who found the line in 19:32.66 that earned her 49th place for the evening.

Up Next: The Jackrabbits return home to Brookings to race at Edgebrook Golf Course in the SDSU Classic next Friday night with races set to go off at 6 p.m.
