HANSEN HONORED BY SUMMIT LEAGUE

SIOUX FALLS, SD – Leah Hansen's stellar performance at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 14 has earned her the title of the TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Peak Performer of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday.
In the Red Race 6k, Hansen crossed the finish line in a personal-best 20:32.3 for a 10th place overall finish. According to the league, her showing was the fastest 6k time for an SDSU student-athlete at the Newman Golf Course layout. Her effort helped push the Jackrabbits to a 10th place finish in the team standings.
This is her second weekly honor of the season and the fifth of her career.
SDSU looks to repeat as league champions as the men and women compete in the Summit League Cross Country Championships in Grand Forks, ND on Oct. 29 set for an 11 a.m. start time.
