South Dakota State women's golf hits the road to New Mexico this week to take part in the Golf Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State.

Alex Kandolin will play in the No. 1 spot for the Jacks, followed by Piper Stubbs, Shakira-Ann Kuys, McKenzie Mages and Tatum Depuydt.

Kandolin is coming off a first place finish at team's home tournament two week ago in Brookings, her first career win. She led the Jackrabbits to a runner-up team finish.

At last season's New Mexico State tournament the Jackrabbits placed fifth and were led by then-senior Lani Potter, who took fifth in the individual standings.
