SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - South Dakota State's
Myah Selland has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Womens' Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday.Â
Selland put together a well-rounded week, averaging 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.5 blocks over two games. She shot 86 percent from the 3-point line (6-for-7) and 63 percent from the field (15-for-24).Â
In South Dakota State's 79-52 win over Denver, Selland posted a season-high 25 points to lead all players on 10-for-13 shooting including going 3-for-3 from behind the arc. She also grabbed six rebounds, dished out a team-high four assists and notched two blocks in the victory.

Against Omaha, she just missed a triple-double as she finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to go along with three blocks. In the 77-62 victory over the Mavericks, Selland went 5-for-11 from the field including 3-for-4 from the three-point line.
This is the eighth weekly Summit League honor of Selland's career and first of the season. She is the second Jackrabbit to earn the award this season, joining
Paige Meyer (December 27).
