WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The South Dakota State women's golf team wrapped up the William & Mary Invitational Tuesday with a sixth place finish at the Kingsmill River Course. 
Shakira-Ann Kuys tied for 10th place in the individual standings to pace the Jackrabbits.
The Jackrabbits finished +49 in the tournament, two shots ahead of host William & Mary and three behind Towson.
After a pair of two-over rounds Monday, Kuys' final round was a 1-over 73 to move up one spot on the leaderboard. Kuys was steady through the majority of the day, recording a par on all but three holes.
Alex Kandolin shot up the leaderboard with her final 18 holes. The senior carded a 70 (-2) Tuesday to jump 20 spots in the final standings to 27th place.
Tatum Depuydt finished in a tie for 40th (+21) while 
Piper Stubbs and 
McKenzie Mages tied for 43rd place (+22).
Hannah Lydic of Richmond finished all three rounds under par and won medalist honors by seven shots. Richmond and Elon tied for the team championship at +13.
UP NEXT
The Jackrabbits return to Brookings to host the Jackrabbit Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday of next week. The tournament will take place at the Brookings Country Club.
