SELLAND COLLECTS SUMMIT LEAGUE ACCOLADE

South Dakota State's Myah Selland has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performer of the Week by the conference office.
Selland powered South Dakota State to two big wins this week and helped the Jacks stay unbeaten in Summit League action. She averaged 27.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.0 block while committing only one total turnover over the last two games. She also drew 11 fouls this week, including a number of charges.
SDSU dominated previously-unbeaten NDSU 94-63 Thursday, then dominated another top-half league team in UND 105-72 Saturday afternoon.
Selland moved into second place on the Jackrabbits' career scoring chart against North Dakota. With 1,900 career points, Selland ranks second in program history and eighth in Summit League history for career scoring.
Selland had an all-around night against North Dakota State, finishing with 24 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block while drawing seven fouls. She put up eight of the Jacks' first 13 points and helped the squad to a 20-point advantage less than five minutes into the contest. She was 8-for-12 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the free throw line.
Against North Dakota, Selland matched her career high of 30 points on 10-for-12 shooting with seven 3-pointers for South Dakota State. She also tallied four rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block for the Jacks while drawing four fouls. She went 10-for-12 from the floor, 7-for-9 from beyond the arc and knocked down all three free throw attempts.
This is the ninth Summit League weekly honor of Selland's career and her first of the season.
