MADISON, Wis. - The South Dakota State men's golf team is in 10th place after two rounds of the Badger Invitational.
Luke Honner continues to pace the Jackrabbits and is tied for third in the individual standings.
Honner, a sophomore, followed his 68 (-4) Sunday with a 71 (-1) during Monday's 18 holes. His two-day total of 139 (-5) has him two shots off the top of the leaderboard. Veikka Viskari from VCU leads all players (137, -7).
Bryson Mercier tallied a 73 (+1) Monday, bringing his score to 145 (+1). He is tied for 36th place.
Ty Kretz is tied for 52nd place with a 147 (+3).
Lucas Schaefbauer is in 70th (151, +7) and
Tucker D'Allaird is tied for 75th (154, +10).
The Jackrabbit team posted a 296 (+8) Monday. Their two-day team tally has them 6-over (582). FGCU is in first place as a team with a 560 (-16).
Also on Monday,
Tyler Seeling also wrapped his competition at the Badger Individual, which was played at the nearby TPC Wisconsin Golf Course. He fired a 73 (+1) during his final round and finished sixth with a 217 (+4) scorecard.
