The South Dakota State women's basketball program will host its annual Pink Game Thursday evening when it plays Denver at Frost Arena.
The SDSU team will wear pink and white Under Armour uniforms to show support for breast cancer awareness. Custom South Dakota State basketball jerseys like the ones worn in Thursday's game will be sold via a live auction immediately following the game. Bidders will be able to purchase a specific jersey number, then customize the name printed on the back. Each jersey number will only be sold once.
All proceeds will benefit the Edith Sanford Breast Center. In previous seasons, the auction has raised as much as $14,000.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game and pick up an #IPinkFor poster when they arrive at Frost to be featured on the #IPinkFor fan cam. Tipoff against the Pioneers is set for 7 p.m.
