COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Jackrabbit men's golf team moved up one spot into seventh place during the second day of action at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate Saturday.
After play was suspended partway through round two on Friday evening, the teams returned to the course Saturday to finish the second lap and get a head start on round three, which will be completed Sunday.
The Jackrabbits tallied a 590 (+22) team score over the first 36 holes.
Ty Kretz,
Jonah Dohrer and
Matthew Schaefer are tied for 23rd place after two rounds with 147 (+5) scorecards.
Kretz fired a 70 (-1) on his second round, moving him up 34 spots on the leaderboard compared to his round-one score. Dohrer and Schaefer posted matching 74 and 73 scores for rounds one and two.
Luke Honner is tied for 36th place with a 149 (+7) while
Noah Boraas is tied for 80th (157, +15).
No. 25 Ohio State is 4-under as a team to lead the field. Chris Vandette of Kent State has a 4-under individual scorecard and sits atop the player leaderboard.
Play is scheduled to resume at 9:30 a.m ET Sunday morning.
