SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - South Dakota State sophomore Bryson Mercier has been named the Summit League TicketSmarter Peak Performer of the Week. This is the first weekly honor of Mercier's career.
Mercier won the Jackrabbit Invitational by shooting a 54-hole total of 211 (-5). He won by two strokes over a trio of golfers that included fellow Summit League golfer Brandon McGarry of North Dakota. The Powers, Mich., native also led SDSU to the team title after he racked up a field-best 14 birdies throughout the tournament. He opened and closed with a 70 (-2), while shooting another under-par round of 71 (-1) on his second loop around the Boulder Creek Golf Club.
